22 albums. 22 stories. What’s behind my synthwave music?

This week I closed the “Album Stories” podcast with Europarty. It was the final stop, starting with outrun, traveling through synthwave and ending it with the unforgettable beat of the 90s, that era of freedom, shiny tracksuits, and pure energy. It was the sound that reminded us how to just dance and forget the rest.

Going back through my entire discography, from the very first beats on my mom’s wooden chairs to the latest synth layers, has been more emotional than I expected. It was about reliving every sunset, every midnight drive, every little memory since 2012.

The podcast ends here, but the story? Well, as long as there’s a synth turned on and a road to follow, the story stays… Unfinished.

Pity. It was going well, nice 1980s feel, small town, Something Wicked This Way Comes with The X Files stirred in perhaps.
None of the usual weird computer altered faces that Netflix too often features.
