Am increasingly annoyed so many businesses still use the phone to arrange/communicate stuff that doesn’t need a phone call.
One contractor I hired for a project *really needed* to speak via phone to go over important stuff prior to install day.
It was just a list of items for me to do to prepare. That’s it.
Could have been a PDF download or an email.
PDF or email would have been better, because not only would it have wasted none of my time, but then I could have referred to it before install time, whereas all the crap they said on the phone I would have to either remember, or take notes while talking.
Incredibly Inefficient.
Another contractor needs to speak on the phone to arrange time for a consultation . Why?
This can easily be done in email, and in email there is less chance of miscommunication, because you can copy/paste my address and contact info.
