España es conocida en todo el mundo por platos como la paella o la tortilla de patatas. Sin embargo, es el país europeo que más carne de tiburón pesca y vende al extranjero. Según, un informe de la ONG IFAW, entre 2003 y 2020 se vendieron más de 50.000 toneladas de aleta de tiburón.
