Got the engine apart. Needs new seals, bearings, mating parts and a new crank. And a lot of cleaning due to a bad oil seal and cheap 2-stroke oil. Again, Mastodon mobile isn’t letting me add alt text, so… ALT A dirty piston from a two stroke engine. #stellascooters #twostroke

Today was the day to pull the engine and get it taken apart to see what needs to be replaced. All was going well until we hit a frozen nut on the crankshaft. The #stellascooters is on her last legs. Time for an engine rebuild. This weekend is tear it apart and see what’s broken. Then make a list. Next weekend is put it back together. Hopefully, get her running in time for #springscoot First we gotta get her home.
