CyanCqueakFinished watching season 1 of #Starfleet academy. Overall I enjoyed it, characters had depth and variation.
I can see the intent on a lower budget show focused on character growth for a younger audience.
A few of the faculty decisions were questionable - but I can see the writers room needing them to put the cadets in positions of story influence. I for one would not leave a weapons research station unguarded when I already had capital ships nearby.
