Pripyat looks like a chill area, actually. Sure, there are Chimeras here and there, Bloodsuckers appear to be roaming as well, but no dwarves (they're called Burers, mezzo!) and no controllers so far. Well, outside the scripted events, that is. Our gear is also coming together: We switched to using the AS Val now that we have a somewhat reliable source of ammunition, we got the Carabineer, and we stuck with the SVU instead of the VSS because the SVU can also have a silencer installed! Now all our weapons except for the shotgun are silenced 
Next steps will be to find the remaining tools for our local mechanic in Zaton (his name is Cardan, mezzo!), finding out about Laboratory X8, and maybe going around hunting for artifacts again, who knows. The last one has become quite a chill activity ever since we received the Svarog detector

On other news: We finally got the Svarog detector, which allowed us to investigate the anomaly at the Cooling Tower in Yanov. We actually had the ex-Monolith squad join up with Freedom. We made friends of Freedom, made friends of the stalkers (again), made almost-enemies of the bandits, and stopped being friends with Freedom. I am great at managing reputation

And so we finish up our stream today, having made quite a bunch of money from a handful of artifacts, and obtaining an exoskeleton! It was quite pricey, and will continue to be quite a burden on our wallet, but it's good.
Besides that, we did a bunch of side quests, picked up known stashes, and even made some story progress because a side mission was in the same area

Well, surprisingly, the bandits still think we're a chill person despite us eradicating… one, two… three of their camps today I don't know, maybe it's because not a single bandit in these camps lives to tell the tale.
On other news, we found a squad of Monolith (ex-Monolith?) stalkers who say they want to join a different faction. They seem peaceful enough, but I can't shake a creeping suspicion that they are here to do mischief, and yet I pretend to be naive enough to get them into Duty. I don't think this will end well, will it 
Finally, we also made some story progress, having investigated all the helicopter crash sites, and having found the evacuation spot that all the military personnel should have evacuated to. Let's see if we can get to that next time.

So, we had a good start into the third game of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series! We're still starting out with getting some money, but thanks to a stealth quest that went sideways, we now have pretty decent equipment
From the first impression, I'd say Call of Pripyat is my favourite S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game so far, when including atmosphere, mechanics, and a few more things. Looking forward to streaming it again
