I did the SSCP in 2019 to brush up on some security topics, but I didn't realise I was signing my life away.

Now (ISC)2 is once again asking for my annual maintenance fee and on top of it I haven't done any of my CPE homework... for the past 3 years. 🙈

This morning, I went to a testing center and got a piece of paper that says this:
"Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that you have provisionally passed the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP®) examination."

I am teaching a 2-week bootcamp course this December on the (ISC)2 SSCP exam, so it seemed like a smart move to actually take the exam ​

Hopefully in a few months I'll have something much better than my own SSCP credential: students who also have their SSCP credential.
