I hadn't taken a sick day since the pandemic started, I don't think I had even been sick, but now, after travelling to #splunkconf23 in Las Vegas, I've had COVID, given it to wife and toddler, and then developed a secondary throat infection. 🤒

I thought the airfare was expensive, but the toll this has taken on my family has been so much more.

The inestimable Ryan Kovar talking @Splunk #Cybersecurity, and specifically the Threat Research and 'content' team. This is not new, but it's a major differentiator, providing and sharing attack vector expertise and knowledge. Esp for threat and intrusion hunters.

Great to see a customer case study in the opening keynote. Today is @FedEx #CTO talking about driving value into commercial operations with @Splunk. Talking #DigitalTransformation, but not about #IT success, about business success. Love to see it!!

And a final announcement from @splunk #CEO for the new #Splunk #AI. Light on details but appears to be a #GenAI assistant for (among other things??) writing SPL. Useful. Could be exciting. Need more details on this one for sure!!
