I made another #ErgoMechKeyboard, taking the ribbon cable idea for my Bivouac34, and the 32-key layout and a 5-way navigation button from my Bivvy16D #SplitKeyboard. When using Blender I’d like to keep my right hand on the pointing device (pen or mouse) and the other on the keyboard.

But I use a steeply tented split keyboard, and a few keys I need regularly are on the right half; with a flat keyboard I’d reach over to the other half, but because of the almost 90° tenting this is difficult and slow.

I think I will try solving this issue by making one key flip the two halves (temporarily).

What do you think, how would you approach this problem?

Hm, maybe I found a successor to the Magic Keyboard.

The Elora looks like exactly what I wanted. This is significantly better for my hands than the Adv360.
I'm playing around with custom QMK, and now I think I know what I want.
The keycaps are a mix of what I have, and a custom set is on the way. #splitkeyboard
