Sparkle Weekend is at the end of June (from the 26th). It's only a few short weeks away, and I feel it's especially needed at the moment, given the sustained attacks on the trans community.

It doesn't come cheep though. We're impacted by the cost of living crisis making everything more expensive, and corporates have been pulling back support for our trans specific organisation. To try and help, we're doing a fundraising event this whole weekend in the gay village. Look out for us in our purple high-vis jackets, and please give generously! Sparkle Weekend can't happen without your support!

At #SparkleWeekend in #Manchester with @bright_helpings . We've seen friends, bought lots of knick knacks from trans and queer small businesses, and generally had a good day of community.

A reminder that it's #TransPride #Manchester this weekend. This is a separate event from #SparkleWeekend and there's a march from Castlefield to Vimto Park on Saturday, starting at noon, along with afternoon and evening events.
