Had this standing behind the net I use to protect myself when “pitching” balls to my daughter for softball practice. She hit one hard back at the net and made contact with my water bottle through the net. It flew a couple of meters back and had this big dent in it. The three lines at the top are from the stitches on the ball. This is why I use the net!

Het softbalseizoen begint en Nina’s schoenen zijn nog niet in vorm, ze is weer gaan slepen met pitchen omdat springen in de VS niet wordt toegestaan. #softballlife

Jongste heeft vanavond online kennis gemaakt met coach en team in Ohio. Ze zal in juni en juli deel uitmaken van hun team om summer ball te spelen. Paar meiden zullen als gastgezin optreden. Ze heeft er zin in! #softballlife

Nina is super enthousiast om als korte stop mee te spelen met het Amerikaanse team Chaos tijdens The Cup in Schiedam. Vanavond een interview met Kirt Whiteside als introductie naar de coaches Kendra Kutz en Rebecca Schemberger. Teammeeting op 12 Januari. Toch fijn als je op school Engels hebt geleerd. #softbal #Softballlife

Yeah! Jongste dochter doet als pickup player van 13-15 januari mee met The Cup in Schiedam. Als korte stop en backup pitcher tussen alle Amerikanen. Head coach Kendra Kutz van Wildcats is de teamcoach. Vanavond de ZOOM met de organisator en een introduction via E-mail naar de head coach. Nu nog een slaapplek zoeken. Team logeert in het Hilton, dat is boven haar budget;) #softballlife
