Socket 7 AT whitebox computer
Ok, now lets check if the #Socket7 CPUs do work.
This is my trustworthy Biostar M5ATC mainboard.
Now we need to jumper it for each individual CPU.
The AMD K5 and the Pentium CPUs are single voltage.
The K6, mobile Pentium and Pentium MMX are dual voltage.
And it seems I can't test the mobile Pentium in this board because it has a core voltage of 3.1V which the Biostar does not support!
Oh, and if anyone wants to know: my test board is a Biostar M5ATC. I test nearly all my socket 7 CPUs in it. Only Super Socket 7 CPUs need to go into another board...
Nice, the is a Cyrix6x86MX PR200 variant I didn't already have in my collection. I only had the 2x75MHz version and no 2.5x66MHz one!
Got this wild little goofus the other day! It's an RF monitor of sorts, but I'll be doing no such thing with it. It's got an AMD-K6 @233mhz. I am uncertain if it's Super Socket 7, but if it is, I intend to max this out and see what I can manage to play on this!

10年代後半にもなってK6をはじめとする #Socket7 CPUをシバくという、いい感じに頭のおかしいサイトがGeocitiesの終了とともに消えてしまったんだよなあ
