Attended #SMRRF this weekend and as usual had my robots with me, my old wireless router was looking a bit naff so made a new enclosure. A tribute to the amazing datenklos from @emf and other European maker camps, using the filament given to SMRRF exhibitors last year.
May I present, the Portable Network Convenience!
It's a 4G modem/router running OpenWRT, it has a 5 port POE switch that powers everything in it including an 8 port gigabit switch and external access point.
It's also got space for another Pi or Jetson board if I need extra compute too.
I'll still be able to use it at EMF for hosting services too, just without the AP, handy for running the new Hacky Racers telemetry system!
