Dit is toch een tegenvaller. De ontwikkelingen rondom waterstof staan nu weliswaar nog in de kinderschoenen, maar lijken veelbelovend voor de toekomst. De verwachting is dat het duurzame mobiliteitsvraagstuk bijv nooit volledig met EV's kan worden opgelost. Investeringen in waterstof zijn dus nodig. De transitie naar waterstof komt alleen erg moeizaam op gang en autofabrikanten zien er voorlopig ook geen heil in.
