Obligatory Expo Photo, Day two! Last day at Small Press Expo and still have quite a few books that K and I do not want to take back to Denver. There’s comics about cities, urban life, late nights, and even a cat. Here till 6pm. Drop by for some strained and quite tired wit. It’s been a long weekend, but we’re still friendly and quite nice. Really! Trust me!

If you don't have a lot of time to spare I would point you toward "An Ode to People" and "Kiss the Cook", each of which can be read in just a few minutes.
I haven't cast my vote yet but I'm leaning towards Jake Spooky. While I normally don't care for animation or sound in my webcomics, this one is pulling them off pretty well.
Kiss the Cook by Barbara Perez Marquez and Rhinosnax

Nine pages about meeting the new neighbor.
Jake Spooky by Michael Grover

Some interesting tricks with animation and sound in this story about a punk rock ghost who's full of wolves.
Home by the Rotting Sea by Otava Heikkilä

"A standalone digital comic that follows two women living at an inflection point of hostilities between two different people in the now-melted arctic." 98 pages.
An Ode to People by KC Councilor
