Dropped off my 3 and a half year old at preschool, it’s her first day of school. She’s my only child too, so seasoned parents understand how hard this is.

She went straight for the toys and other kids to play with, without any separation anxiety at all. I feel like I’m the one who had it lol.

This week I am #singleparenting while the other half is across the world for work. Thankful to not be traveling (seriously, I’ve had it with airports and airplanes and people), but it means I get a week on my own with my #littleone. So far, so good.

What I’ve noticed: as a full-time working parent (whose work frequently has odd hours), I don’t know how #SingleParents actually do it. Huge respect to #singlemoms and #singledads who do this Every. Single. Day. I see you. You rock.
