My new dishwasher is the dishwasher of Theseus. (ETA: new as in "new to me." Not new from the store.)

I'm not even kidding.

The lock was busted. So they replaced the lock.

Now the drain pump is burned out. So they are going to replace it.

They are also going to replace the control board while they are at it.

So will this dishwasher be the same dishwasher as when I got the apartment, or will it be different?

A philosophical question for the ages.
