I’ve taken the decision to dismantle my desk. Space is at a premium in the pursuit of junk fused maker activities. So I am really having to cut down the amount of unnecessary clutter in my limited space. The corner of our lean to is the most appropriate place at the moment for both a quick audio take in Logic or a quick bit of coding whilst making the tea, so its got to be nearby. So I am dismantling the old workbench and creating a new slightly smaller work area in its place. I’ve got some really heavy offcuts of kitchen worktop so I am going to attempt to build some kind of floating desk for storing my maker related equipment for my https://shedtronic.substack.com activities and also putting my music studio stuff, for my https://pushingtheenvelopegenerator.substack.com newsletter. Its going to take a little while but I’ll document it on @Substack of course.
