I had decided I was done after the last one... but damnit I was digging the vibe and had to do another one.
This is a composition that I've never known what to do with. But as I was recording it right now, I realized it might be awesome if I could get someone to rap on it.
I could almost put a beat behind it, but IDK if the tempo would work for that. Maybe I need a bass and live drums or something?
Dialing in the shedStudio A/V. Playing cartoons in the backround is fun as heck I think. Though I should really clean up cords and try to make a backround that isn't cluttered. Maybe try to make it look like I have my shit together?
Raw audio right off the board is sounding pretty damn crisp. I had a little clipping but I decided I didn't mind it.
I wanted to play around with my loop pedal for looptober, and I've really wanted a good live recording setup. It'll be cool to capture live moments later.
The video is dumb but I'm playing around with it. I think I like this audio setup though!
Audio was straight from the mixer, everything was recorded in OBS without digital postprocessing - except for a handy ffmpeg command to convert a 16:9 video to a 9:16 video:
ffmpeg -i in.mp4 -vf "crop=607:1080:656:0" out.mp4
I've always wanted to do turn ShedStudio to host something like Tiny Desk Concerts. I probably need to invest in more equipment. But this turned out kinda neat!

I've gotten a lot of use out of my printer, but if this printed garden hose extension adapter thing works without leaking too bad, it will somehow justify every penny of the purchase.
