I'm on attempt # 4 of starting the #30meterfabricchallenge. First, I promised myself no new fabric, got 11 yards in, I bought fabric. Tried again, 3 yards, bought fabric. Tried a third time, got 8 yards in, here come a sale.

Me on 12/28/2023 in my sewing room. I need to make room for all the fabric I just ordered. Let's try the 30 meter fabric challenge and mean it. Jan 1 2024, the fabric store says 1/2 shipping and 60% the entire inventory.

I ordered some cable knit.

I swear I will complete this challenge.

Well I made a mistake on my sleeves, and had to draft and cut a new set of sleeves and cuffs. So that brings my yardage up to 5.75 yards for the 30 meter fabric challenge.

I'm pissed though, because the sleeves I used are from another pattern. Apparently that is the only non interchangeable sleeve in my collection. 2021 me was incredibly lucky, because that shirt fits amazing, but doesn't match up with anything else #sewing wise.

And you know I'm slow as hell so I just lost hours preparing the first sleeve, tryna make it work then having to make a new one. I'm gonna have to prep the new one. I need a cookie.

I set my sewing machine and serger up for a project. It's the still unfinished May project. And then I decided that I wanted to try a circle skirt. (I've made one in my life. I think I can do better.) Now neither projects have moved forward, because a) it's hot in the sewing room, and b) I'm too lazy to reset the machines.

Maybe July is just not a productive month? Or is it that, I think I have enough clothes? I have been trying to do a me made wardrobe for like 2 years now. I could just be lazy?

Just wanted to let everyone know that seven days into March is when I officially finished my #frugalfrock February Challenge dress. 🤣🤣🤣 And as cute as it is, it's clearly a summer dress, and it's too cold for me to take cute pics outside in it. But it's done and now I can get back to my schedule.
