Designs for nature lovers!

I've been taking a class on surface design partly because I have always loved fabrics. #FabricHoarder But, I was also looking for ways to inspire others to get into native landscaping and to help preserve endangered species. I thought that a great way to do it would be to offer products as tangible reminders of the flora and fauna that need appreciation and protection.

People of #sewing I have failed the 30 Meter Fabric Challenge again. This time it was for $34.99 per yard linen that was on sale for $5.25, I am a weak weak sewist and regret nothing.

Actually I regret getting 18.8 yards into my challenge, but I have never sewn with 100% linen. Linen blends are in my budget. I kind of had to buy it.

Will I restart my challenge? Yes. This is the farthest, I've made it so far. I know it can be done as long as I stay off the Internet, lol.

I'm on attempt # 4 of starting the #30meterfabricchallenge. First, I promised myself no new fabric, got 11 yards in, I bought fabric. Tried again, 3 yards, bought fabric. Tried a third time, got 8 yards in, here come a sale.

Me on 12/28/2023 in my sewing room. I need to make room for all the fabric I just ordered. Let's try the 30 meter fabric challenge and mean it. Jan 1 2024, the fabric store says 1/2 shipping and 60% the entire inventory.

I ordered some cable knit.

I swear I will complete this challenge.
