11/8 (3+3+3+2) gives it a flowing asymmetric pulse. Clarinet and vibraphone trade the row in canon.

Which works well as a few phrases, like this. (I even resolved it back to the G it begins with.)
Having expressed that passage, my imagination seems to be moving on to a 12-tone tone row. I'll let that gestate a while and see how much beauty I can extract from it.

I just keep wondering why my effort isn't on the Billboard Top 100. I mean. It makes sense. It's groovy. It has self-depreciating lyrics. It's mostly in 4/4. You can dance to (part of) it. What's the problem?
