A little sewing porn for the fabric wranglers! Lookit this little green beast! He said it was probably 40 or 50 years old. Still stitches great! No air threading, obviously. :) I didn’t realize home sergers were that old (or that Baby Lock had been around that long?).

It gives me the same warm, glowy machine love feelings I used to feel for my Volkswagens. I want to bring it home, name it, and sew for days.

@AmeliasBrain Yes! The #MakerSpace at #EdmontonPublicLibrary is fabulous! And I actually have a good machine at home. Still, getting myself to start using it and keep using it when it's just me here at home is a constant struggle. There's something about being in that public space that's SO motivating! They also have #Sergers but haven't started the process of teaching folks to use those yet. Lots of space and great equipment for cutting and ironing, too.
