WHOLEHEARTER LIFE 1/10 💛
Understanding ourselves matters, but loving ourselves matters more. A simple truth. A radical practice.

When I was younger, I thought everything was a transaction.
If someone gave me a compliment, I had to give one right back.
If someone gave me a gift, I had to find something to give them in return.
If I received money? Oh no… now I owed them forever.

Even compliments turned into this weird tennis match.
They’d serve me one… and I’d scramble to hit it back.
Usually with something completely inauthentic like,
“Uh… you too!” 🙃

It didn’t feel good.
It didn’t feel real.
And it definitely didn’t let me actually receive.

Now I just let it in.
I smile. I say “thank you.”
And I actually feel the warmth of the moment.

Because receiving isn’t about owing.
It’s about allowing.
It’s about letting good things land without guilt.

You don’t have to trade, prove, or balance the scales.
Sometimes… you just say thanks.
And eat the cookie. 🍪

Inside Worthy & Rising, we practise this kind of delicious, guilt-free receiving in our free 5-day challenge:

✨ The Door of Desire
✨ The Mirror of Lies
✨ The River of Receiving
✨ The Circle of Worth
✨ The Crown of Yes

Last week, my band played a gig.
We got paid a little… at least, I think we did.
But I never asked.
I just let the thought pop up once in a while,
then pushed it back down because… asking felt awkward.

But here’s the thing: not asking wasn’t just about the money.
It was about leaking energy into wondering.
It was about quietly telling myself:
Maybe I don’t deserve to know.

So I asked.
Because I am worthy of clarity.
Because I am allowed to claim what’s mine.
Because friendship doesn’t mean swallowing my needs.

And when the answer came?
Relief. Shoulders softening.
A little “yes” from the world that mirrored the deeper truth:
I was worthy before I even asked.
But letting it in… that’s the magic.

Every time you say yes to receiving,
the door opens a little wider.
And every time, it gets lighter.
Because you remember:
You are held. You are supported. You can trust.

If you’re ready to practise opening your own doors,
the Worthy & Rising community has a free 5-day "The Art of Receiving" challenge waiting for you:

✨ The Door of Desire - letting yourself want what you want (without the guilt or apologising)
✨ The Mirror of Lies - burning the bullshit stories that keep you small
✨ The River of Receiving - cleansing your energy and softening into possibility
✨ The Circle of Worth - anchoring into your inherent “enough-ness”
✨ The Crown of Yes - claiming your path, your magic, your self-trust

It’s all there for you, on demand, ready when you are.
