With my eyes on the next year's planning of competency growth at work I have a question to anyone working in #Security and/or #SecureDevelopment .
What are the good ways I could try to help the team that I'm the part of to improve how it's handling security (in general and in development)?
I have a few ideas, but it might be nice to see what other smart(er) brains can think of.
Personally, I'm keen to learn about places looking for specialized generalists like me who thrive on building great products that deliver value together with great people. Especially, if there's a clear focus on security to protect people and prevent harm.
Boosting for reach is appreciated - thank you!

After learning to apply some of that knowledge, I took the very path @Lemniscate describes.
Finding some security bugs got me time to study more and find more of them.
Doing that for a while got me on a short list to be a #securityChampion and doing THAT for a while got me into other #infosec initiatives.
That was a job ago and now I'm a full time security type. :)
