I'd contend that when the possibility of anonymizing is available, from internet comment threads, tinted windows in cars, and other opportunities to act from behind cover without any identity or accountability, it almost invariably produces more bad behavior, feral etiquette, and crazy extremist takes on the world.
Jay Faerber is a really good writer. Noble Causes, Secret Identities (cancelled far too soon!), and Graveyard Shift are all great comics that held up better over time than most from their era, and I wouldn't mind seeing more of any of them.
