Really rad #seattle folks have put together a tool to help folks comment on the current #SeattleCompPlan and leave feedback asking for improvements to the draft plan
#Seattle! Tomorrow morning, @jp4all @houserneighbors and @ShareTheCities are hosting a #SeattleCompPlan commenting party 10:30am - 12pm.
Do you want to tell the city why we need to build more housing -- and do it near parks and amenities, not just in a narrow strip on polluted arterials?
Come join us!

Alright #Seattle #SeattleCompPlan people. Since no city planner dares to show this, we're doing it.
We're not just looking at how many "Neighborhood Centers" have been added or taken away. We're gonna overlay it on top of the displacement risk.
Went to the comp plan meeting in my neighborhood. Some city employees were pretty combative about adding more density.
The format seemed pretty discouraging to getting feedback from folks who took time to attend. It's almost like the current city govt wants to lock up Seattle to keep real estate high and push folks to surrounding areas. 👀
Oh my dear god. The draft EIS for the #SeattleCompPlan update is 1079 pages. 😱
Of course, the EIS for the itty bitty update to allow mother-in-law apartments and backyard cottages in most parts of town was also about that long so I suppose I should be grateful. #Seattle
