That being said, one week until #SDHistCon. Hoping my flight will still fly, with all the government shutdown stupidity. I could drive if I really had to, but I would prefer a shorter transit time.

I'm sure that once I'm involved in the proceedings, I'll have a good time, but right now it just seems like a week away from home, during which the work will just pile up and pile up because there is literally nobody to cover for me.
