If brick and mortar bookstores are really on their last (historical) leg, the theoretical interest they elicit is increasing year over year. From only 68 articles in the year 2000 (according to the selected categories visible in the screenshot, represented by the blue bars from the right side chart) to 182 in 2022. The gray area contains all the published articles that contain the word `bookstore` and its variations - `e-bookstore`, `digital-bookstore` etc. #bookstores #publishing #scinapse
@hildabast I tried the same keyword search with scinapse.io and #GoogleScholar and the #scinapse results were more relevant. Just don't trust what comes up when you search your own name. It's hilariously inaccurate!
I am passionate about every alternative to Big Tech (currently using Neeva as my default search engine) but I have my reservations that #Scinapse scinapse.io/ is better than Google Scholar. It is meant to identify your advisors and your most notabel students. But in my case, it got it all wrong!

Another search tool to add to my list of tools and resources perhaps ..? #Scinapse
Read the thread: it's appears to be a bit flawed .

So this website claims to be better than #googlescholar, and yet, I can't figure out how to click the search button on my phone. Hmmm
