Second model of 2024 - a #Contemptor #Dreadnought for the #Salamanders. Did Darren Latham inspired flames this time, I like it better than my previous method and it’s not too much work. Paint got a little bit too thick on the shield - slightly more than a glaze consistency - but think I could mostly do it okay again in the future.

Super excited - signed up for a massive #horusheresy game on 9/30! I won't quite have 3k points to bring (list in subsequent post), but the organizers seem willing to move points around as needed. Anyway - it will be my first post-pandemic game (nearly 4 years!) and the first outing for my #salamanders30k. Super stoked.

Timing really couldn't be better: I'm between jobs (9/18 being the new start date), so have lots of time to power through the backlog.
