Had two high desert frosts within the last month here in the four corners, but these babies withstood! My seeds have been through a lot in the last 12 years, so they’re built to tolerate a lot of Pachamama’s bullshit and her drama (Mother Nature).

In this part of the world, she doesn’t know what she wants, but my sacred datura babies do—they just wanna grow and be potent for all these brujas & brujos that are gonna pick them later this year, and nothing gets in their way!

Datura from Theodore Payne Foundation in Los Angeles. A poisonous plant with enormous night blooming flowers, grows from cracks in the road but that I am struggling to get to thrive in my garden. The key seems to be to entirely ignore it and not try to help it grow at all.
