Eye of Light

Stuttgart S21. Day of the open construction site. April 2023. One of my first pictures with the newly acquired A6600 and the Tamron.

In the 90s, I still liked the idea of putting the main station underground. But as it became increasingly clear that it would not bring the benefits that had been propagated, I became more and more against it. I voted against it in the referendum more than 10 years ago. Today, the construction work is well advanced and it would be foolish to demolish it. After all, for architecture fans and photographers like me, the new Stuttgart Central Station has a lot to offer. However, until it is completed, you will still have to walk long, long distances to catch the train - which will then be canceled.
