If you barely use an account and
don't want to have to give your official ID to use it (which really you should refuse),

Then I recommend you log in as soon as possible to delete it fully from the internal deletion feature

• Many accounts are easy to delete now from within the account.

• Once you are locked out of your account for refusing to provide an official ID, you might never be able to delete your account and data again.

• If you are already in this situation, and your region is covered by a decent privacy law, you might still be able to have your data deleted with the help of your local Data Protection Authority. Reach out to them.

• Be mindful about your other accounts that may depend on this account for logins or other.

last I checked you can't 100% opt your site out of #perplexityAI because of the #nytimes #union thing, because they crawl from other IP addresses to avoid blocks https://blog.zgp.org/perplexed/

(looks like I'll have to send them a #CCPA #rightToDelete when they feed personal info from my site into an LLM)

This site is opted out of AI. Perplexity.ai crawled it three times

I need a script that would login to #reddit with my account and delete everything it possibly can. I mean *everything*. And I don't care if it accidentally deletes something extra. And then delete the account. Reddit is dead to me.

#righttodelete

@jschauma The #eu has grown too big for their #britches. I noticed this when they somehow got everyone to accept fines based on global income, not income from the EU. #ecj #gdpr #righttodelete

(fwiw, Neustar is on my list of the top few #surveillanceCapitalism firms to send a #CCPA #RightToDelete to. You need a mix of general #privacy tools and well-selected targets for CCPA actions to have the most impact)
