I think this ep, and the Sapient Cow in Restaurant at the End of the Universe, prove the point for meat: It is ethical to eat willing food.

Plants can't give consent to be eaten, we raise and torture and kill them without question. So it's a scale from "unable to consent, go for it!" up to "affirm/deny being eaten". Does a cow raised all its life by Humans want to be eaten by us? Sure, why not?

One of my key take-aways from Rick & Morty is that you can do infinite engineering projects if you're sufficiently alone, obnoxious, and somehow still have high motivation.

I do OK engineering, a few hours a day at most. I could do amazing engineering a few hours a day, if I was all fucked up on caffeine & smart drugs and had my yout' back. But I've never had the motivation to go at it full-time, and who'd have the budget‽

I really don't remember much of this season 5-6 stuff. This is when they were fucking with the schedule, showing a few eps and then months of downtime?

And a lot of it doesn't hold together and make a coherent episode, but the visuals are trippy. GG.
