Jeff MacKinnonI tried to update my #pelicanssg site this afternoon with my new macOS setup with a virtual python environment (both uv and pipenv) but pyPillow can’t “see” the homebrew installed libraqm.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
BerndUpgraded to #NetBSD 10.1 and latest #pkgsrc, but the problem persisted.
Online searches revealed that an incompatibility between raqm and gd caused this problem. I managed to rebuild gd without raqm support (which I think adds or improves right-to-left font rendering capabilities for arabic and hebrew, which I don't need), and now it's all back to normal.😁
Add the following line to /etc/mk.conf:
PKG_OPTIONS.gd= -raqm
#libgd #raqm #zabbix #fonts
