Went out to a nice bakery with #Rappscallion, and met the least friendly group of new moms I've ever encountered.

Granted, they were blonde white ladies ordering 4 dozen macarons, but I always assumed babies help cross social divides? I guess not. :-/

Today is #Rappscallion's first birthday!

Words are inadequate to encapsulate what a bizarre and beautiful experience it has been so far to be her mother. She is simply everything.

As an early birthday present for #Rappscallion first birthday, I'm painting these wooden rings stackers like the cats from one of her favorite books, "Stack the Cats"!

The paints are milk based, and so they're not as vibrant. But I think they're coming along!
