#Boston/#CambridgeMA community theater and music fans! Come see the North Cambridge Family Opera's production of Rain Dance, a timely fable about drought, dictators, and democracy (inspired by "The Hare Who Would Not Be King", Tish Farrell's adaptation of an Akamba folk tale).
"It's a wonderful story, couldn't be greater..." "No, it's all too familiar -- another orange-haired dictator!"
Rain Dance runs about 90 minutes long, and features a large intergenerational cast (including me and my kids), delightful music, and clever lyrics -- which are projected as side-titles, so you don't miss a word.
Four performances remain:
Sat 23 March @ 3pm & 7pm
Sun 24 March @ 1pm & 5pm
Presented at the Peabody School on Rindge Ave, Cambridge.
You can reserve a general-admission seat in advance by buying tickets ($7 for kids, $15 for adults). Or donate any amount at the door.
Hope to see you there!
