Yes, there'll be minor switching abrasion; familiarity is a strong motivator - but I assure you, the number of users who *want to* work in MS Office or Windows is well witin a single-digit percentage.

- which also means feel free to improve on the experience. "We're not Big Tech" is not your only selling point.

Great example of how BigTech can screw with us users and small tech actors. While Signal has the capacity to act, for many other it will be tough. What about browsers ?What about small companies or indépendant developers.

You can't be private with Windows, not that there are no other reasons for that.

Sounds like a good reason to call for not using Windows and making boycot campaigns.
