Oops, I suddenly have tickets to 5 home games, with 3 more possible.
Frost home game tickets now available! (Missing the Dec 21 and Mar 15 for now)
Ticket prices are closer to $50 each as opposed to $25 each last season, but reasonable.

Actually the whole article is about different ways that queer inclusivity shows up in the #PWHL …with a brief mention of the #PWHLMN pick of #BrittaCurl and what she’s facing as someone who has expressed queerphobia in the past while signing a contract in a queer-positive league

Better PWHL MN news— they *did* sign Cava… and Schepers
https://letsplayhockey.com/pwhl-minnesota-re-signs-cava-krizova-schepers/
Trio of Walter Cup champion forwards agree to one-year contract extensions St. Paul, MN (June 21, 2024) – PWHL Minnesota announced today the re-signing of three players from its Walter Cup championship team. Forwards Michela Cava, Denisa Křížová, and Liz Schepers have all agreed to one-year contract extensions with Cava and Schepers inked for the 2024-25 [...]
PWHL MN signed #BrittaCurl and now I’m all up in my feeeeelings
Is that why Cava hasn’t signed?? 😩
I’m gonna have to wait and watch and see real hard, looking for Curl’s words and deeds to match, after her “apology”

Two of team’s seven draft picks are now signed to Standard Player Agreement St. Paul, MN (June 21, 2024) – PWHL Minnesota announced today that the team has signed 2024 PWHL Draft picks Britta Curl and Klára Hymlárová to two-year Standard Player Agreements beginning with the 2024-25 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season. Selected in the second [...]
Here’s another article about the #PWHL draft that took place earlier this month (6/2024). What’s notable about it is that it has a full paragraph on Abby Boreen — toward the very end of the article

This concerns me; I thought the #PWHL *did* have an inclusion policy, since something sounding definitive as the #BrittaCurl controversy was simmering over:
“With the inaugural season complete, no gender inclusion policy, nor any policy related to diversity, inclusion, equity, and justice for the PWHL exists in the public domain.”
Newly drafted #PWHL player Britta Curl makes decent apology for her recent remarks. Is it real..? I’ll have to trust the team atm. I’ll see how she “shows up”

Here's another surprise. Klee reported that the assistant coach Mira Jalosuo, who is queer, made the pick. But it wasn't Jalosuo... It apparently was the mayor of St Paul, Melvin Carter.
WTF Is *this* who Klee means when he says he talked to members of the community about Curl...?!

Another great article from Hockey News about the fiasco from last night’s 2nd #PWHL draft. A video is embedded in which Klee clearly shows his ignorance about what is meant by “the community” and affirming simply that he was going after “the best players” without regard for who gets hurt by the selection.
It sucks that this happened in front of Billie Jean King and her wife Ilana Kloss. It sucks that it happened at all.
