Nice thing is bus back to Northampton is free, as are all of the PVTA lines.
#pvta #bus

anyway, on to the new projects
most interesting are:
- year round #lrta-#nts connection, no word on whether it will be at pheasant lane or in nashua proper
- #mvrta route into salem nh to connect to the #mta 23 (and obviously the many shopping destinations there...)
- #pvta route from ware to holyoke
- funding for the #srta to work with #ripta to bump frequency on the 24l; not sure how this will work in practice, but will be nice to finally get this up from rush only

#transit

and #pvta schedule changes
- g5 gains hourly sunday service
- b6 bumped to every 20 min on weekdays
- r14 is extended to pheasant hill apartments on sundays
- x92 gains sunday service every 45 minutes
- r24 is *presumably* being reconfigured to run as a linear route rather than a loop, as the public hearings suggested, but the announcement is vague. gains weekend service too
- r29 will run from mt holyoke to holyoke mall with a massive frequency boost to 30/45/90 weekdays/sat/sun

#transit

- some resources for on demand last mile connections to intercity #mart routes
- a fun #nrta electric parking shuttle
- #pvta connecting greenfield and amherst (parallel to? replacing? frta 23)
- a massive microtransit covering *all* of #chelsea and #revere ("This award is recommended with a condition to focus their program
on MBTA connections to reduce duplication.")
- #cambridge and #scm longer hours for on demand service for older adults

HUGE stuff out of the #massdot #rtig (regional transit innovation grant)!!!

- #bat microtransit service hours extended, sounds like may also cover for brockton fixed routes late night
- $4 million to #brta / #frta / #pvta to create a "commuter bus network"
- #cata gets to bring back their funny cape ann works route
- cata also gets to add microtransit in rockport weekends/holidays, which seems like a terrible idea with summer demand
- frta access expansion to shutesbury

proposed changes on the #pvta for winter and then spring:
- frequency upgrade for P21E, from today's 60 to 45 and then 30 min headways. worth noting that in true pvta fashion, the upgrade from 60 to 45 is pure schedule tightening
- all trips on G73E extended to northampton for winter, and frequency upgrades for spring
- vague improvements to the WP (ware-palmer shuttle), including splitting the routes and weekend service at some point
