Prepared 2/6 outer pockets for the runner bag. As always with #sewing, it took 3x the time I estimated. I only got half the seams straight and dimensions vary by up to 3 mm, but that also means I at least got half the seams straight and everything is accurate enough to actually fit. Most importantly though, I'm enjoying the process. The sewing pattern (huge term for something so simple) I use now is the 3rd or 4th iteration, but it works really well and I like the material.

I'm making the small bags that go on the outside of Faith's runner bag from a sheet of truck tarpaulin that I looted from the inside of the original bag which is entirely made from truck tarpaulin. Took me half a dozen paper prototypes and help from @brezeldrache until I figured out the geometry in my brain, but now it's satisfying to cut the sheet, construct all the lines and sew. And apparently my track clamp works well to create sharp kinks / edges in this stiff material.

I figured out something new with the gunblade: I don't actually need the safety pins to be metal nails. A piece of ABS filament is enough. It's not as stiff, but it prevents the thing from falling apart or out of position, at least in sword form. Hmm. I will think about this. Maybe this opens up new options so I can have a more elegant lock after all. (Either way, this is good, because nails are usually forbidden at cons.)

Another LARP another lamp. Weathered this one with different lauers of thinned acrylic paints. The poor adhesion on the glas tore some of it off and gave it an extra grimy look.
