Project Trident Reborn With A Void Linux Base

#VoidLinux and after playing with
#AlpineLinux I discovered #LuminaDesktop which I quite liked in its minimalism. Then I discovered #ProjectTrident actually combined Void+Lumina+ZFS (and I personally believe everyone should use a COW filesystem). But its latest release is from Valentine's Day 2020! Could I install it and update it to use the more updated packages from Void?
#HelpWanted #LinuxIt's official: #ProjectTrident is moving to #VoidLinux for its base.
Whoa, #ProjectTrident is rebasing away from #TrueOS / #FreeBSD
and instead rebasing to #voidlinux
Oh boy. #ProjectTrident moving to an "alternative OS" as a base going forward? Seeing what Ken Moore said about #FreeBSD in the Telegram posts that are linked, it pains me greatly. I get the feeling that the project has lost focus quite a bit since it changed from PC-BSD. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what it feels like. π€·ββοΈ

@architect Thought I would try an old hat in the Linux arena
No idea what the issue is. FreeBSD 11.2 mostly "worked" without issue, but FreeBSD 12.0 doesn't. But I fought with it for a few hours before i had enough.
I would try #ProjectTrident or #GhostBSD, but those don't let you install an encrypted ZFS install right now. If I'm going to use something based on FreeBSD, it better support ZFS. And I don't install non-encrypted OSs on any of my devices anymore.
