How sad how this resonates. Looking back and realizing your loved one's disease was in the #prodromal phase. My father's early-onset #Alzheimer's began with hearing loss, too.

#migraine sucks. Looks like yesterday's confusion and exhaustion was probably #prodromal. Could really do without feeling so tired today and #numb all down my left side. Even my lips are half numb. Had to check I could still smile and it wasn't actually a #stroke

"One early hallmark is that sticky protein called beta-amyloid, which over time builds up into brain-clogging #plaques. #Amyloid alone isn’t enough to damage memory — plenty of healthy people’s brains harbor a lot of plaque. An abnormal #tau protein that forms neuron-killing tangles is one of several co-conspirators."
