Apparently a "British" billionaire has donated £9m to the #FrogFacedFacist's Reform UK party. To quote the Independent online newspaper…

"Despite living in Thailand for more than 20 years, and holding a Thai passport and sometimes going by his Thai name, Harborne has made a considerable amount of donations into British politics."

This man is basically a foreign national trying to influence British politics from afar. There should be a cap on political donations, and an outright ban on donations from abroad and/or from non-domiciled ex-pats.

Two Lords have been suspended from the House of Lords for breaking lobbying rules. Lobbying on behalf of commercial interests, which I think is a euphemism for something probably illegal and not dissimilar to what the bloke who's just got 10.5 years in prison did.

Why can't we just "de-Lord" them? We undeniably have an archaic and corrupt democracy.
