What is #DarkSocial? π₯· Dark social refers to the distribution of #content via #privatechannels outside of publicly visible social networks.
Invisible #Traffic π» Many #recommendations and #links reach users via dark social, but are hardly traceable in analysis tools.
#Trust and #Intimacy π€ Content shared via dark social is often more #trusted as it is shared directly and #personally in a #private setting and does not come across as #advertising.

Less #privacy for #PrivateChannels coming soon in #Slack:
"Convert private channels to public
Workspace owners will be able to convert private channels to be public channels from channel details making them visible, searchable and joinable for other workspace members. On Enterprise Grid or Business+ plans, primary organization owners or anyone granted permission to manage private channels can convert them from the channel management dashboard."
