I enjoy forms that have a sort of punch/counterpunch e.g. sonnet, haiku.
I actively dislike most forms that involve repetition of entire lines (except as a chorus).
I like to find rhyme entwined throughout the poem.

This week at the #PoetryCafe we’re looking at different forms of poetry. What form do you like reading/writing the most and why?
For the writers, have you ever mixed and matched forms? Did it work? How did you feel about the process? Would you do it again?
For the readers, how much does form influence your enjoyment of a poetry? Do you mind when a poet you enjoy reading changes forms?
