In 1966, the original writer of the 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘱𝘦𝘴 novel, Pierre Boulle, drafted a screenplay for a movie sequel, though the Heston film is quite unlike the book. It was rejected (and we weirdly got 𝘉𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘱𝘦𝘴 instead). Well, I have the rejected screenplay!
