Picked up a boxed set of CDs The Great Bagpipes Of Scotland on the #Rajon label.
I love the #Bagpipes, the rhythmic swirling, stirring wailing and droning of some fine #Piobaireachd / #Pibroch / #CeolMor deepens and broadens my days.
Messrs Rajon have showcased the bagpipes in a very different, more modern setting, with this collection. Did you know that bagpipes can accompany pop music?
I never imagined that.
The effect is of infinite banality, waves of ennui, meaning dissolving away.
