i wrote my first line of php in 2002

always felt like php was this ancient, established thing back then. it had a huge community, it had movable type, it had phpbb...

it's weird to think i've been using it for 23 years. that's more than 90% of it's lifetime.

Yep, PHP is turning 30 this year! Wondering if "PHP is still relevant?" Ever since we have been hearing that PHP is dead. It was “dead” 10 years ago, 5 years ago, and “is dead” today. But somehow - it isn’t. Anyway... happy birthday!
