Really wish I had a way to improve audio on these video files though. It looks like the copy I had was recorded from antenna to VCR and then transcoded from there, and it's sometimes hard to understand what people are saying.
I'm also missing about a quarter of the episodes, but this show is apparently rather episodic.

I like that the Space Patrol's mission is to patrol and defend. They aren't even allowed to pursue terrorists! The mandate is very strict and prevents them from doing a lot of good, but it also prevents them from doing a lot of evil.
I don't like that the Phoenix Five crew immediately violates this directive with direct support of their superiors.

Oh so goofy! The evil scientist built a device to turn dreams into reality, using it to debilitate the crew. The captain got himself to dream of capturing the evil scientist, and the device made it actually happen.
